[API] Application Programming Interface
[API-First] Approach in which PAs consider APIs as the main tool to pursue their goals, interacting with their stakeholders right from the design stage. Following the provisions of CAD art. 64-bis, paragraph 1-bis, the application interfaces (API) must be designed and / or evolved in an interoperable manner, regardless of the service delivery channels that are logically and chronologically identified after the design of the API
[BP] WS-I Basic Profile - (Web Services Interoperability Specification)
[CMS] Content Management System, software tool installed on servers: its purpose is to support the management of digital content, ex. for websites
[Contract-First] Contract-first is an approach that involves the interaction of multiple IT systems by defining shared APIs through an Interface Description Language (IDL)
[DAM] Digital Asset Management, integrated system for centralized content management; allows the user to create, organize and distribute content across multiple channels such as websites and applications
[DMS] Destination Management System, systems that consolidate and distribute a range of tourism products through a variety of channels and platforms (generally for a Region), supporting the organization and management of destinations within the Region, where implemented
[Referring Institutions] Public Administrations, subjects responsible for managing the catalogue of e-services, APIs, and interoperability agreements on behalf of other Public Administrations
[Provider] One of the subjects referred in Article 2, paragraph 2 of the CAD that makes e-services available to other organizations, for the use of data in its possession or the integration of the processes it has carried out
[e-service] Digital services created in accordance with the CAD art. 1, paragraph 1, letter n-quater) by a provider to ensure access to their data and / or the integration of their processes through the interaction of its IT systems with those of the users, are implemented in the implementation of APIs
[User] Organization that uses the e-services made available by one of the subjects referred in Article 2, paragraph 2 of the CAD
